Decades of academic library experience; focused on management/leadership, reference, information literacy instruction, and assessment. Presented papers at Computers in Libraries, American Library Association, Florida Library Association, and Florida Reading Council. At Eastern Florida State College, in addition to participating on many collegewide and library committees, I collaborated on the design and construction supervision of the new library and other campus buildings; served as the college’s Tenure and Professional Development Council Chair; and most recently facilitated the development of the college’s Copyright policies and procedures, including co-presenting a workshop on Copyright Law in Education to faculty and staff.
Katherine Moody has worked in libraries for over 18 years in special services, adult reference, and school media. She holds an M.L.I.S, is a certified Florida K12 Media Specialist and Florida Educator, and is a graduate of the Sunshine State Library Leadership institute. She served on the Northeast Florida Library Information Network Board of Directors including a term as President of the Board. Katherine is currently the upper school librarian and teaches the AP Capstone program at The Bolles School in Jacksonville, FL. She also volunteers at her children’s elementary school and enjoys spending time with her husband, children and dogs.
