Interest Group Facilitator: Trenita White

My name is Trenita White. I am a Professor, Librarian at Santa Fe College in Gainesville, Florida. I received my BS in Statistics from the University of Florida and my MLIS from Florida State University. I have worked in the library at Santa Fe College for almost 36 years. I began part-time in the Circulation Department of the library and later full-time in Technical Services. I have 31 years of experience in technical services working in various job functions. My primary responsibility is supervision of the Technical Services department. I oversee and manage Technical Services operations and workflow (acquisitions, serials, interlibrary loan, and cataloging), manage acquisitions budget and provide reports, maintain statistical records of Technical Services operations and staff reference desk. I currently serve on several local and statewide committees.
